■ What is powder metallurgy? 

Also called sintering process,

(1) After making the metal in a powder state and compressing it in a rigid mold set on the press,

(2) As a manufacturing method to have mechanical properties by heating in a sintering furnace for a certain temperature (sintering temperature) and a certain time (sintering time) in a reducing gas atmosphere at a temperature of 70% to 80% below the melting point,

(3) It has a large amount of productivity and excellent dimensional accuracy, so it is widely used in automobile parts, home appliance parts, industrial machine parts, and office equipment parts.

(4) In addition, since it is manufactured using the diffusion phenomenon between the same and different metals using metal powders of various components as raw materials, self-lubricating bearings ( Self-Lubricating bearing) or infiltrating Cu and Pb to produce products of special materials such as wear-resistant materials.
